Regular Season Round 13: Rapla - Parnu 93-74

There was no surprise when 7th ranked KK Parnu (2-10) was crushed on the road by fourth ranked Rapla (6-5) 93-74. The game was mostly controlled by Rapla. KK Parnu was better in second period 26-22. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Rapla forced 20 KK Parnu turnovers and outrebounded them 38-25 including 27 on the defensive glass. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 24 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of swingman Janar Soo (199-91) who helped to win the game recording 31 points and 9 rebounds. Power forward Raido Ringmets (206-83) contributed with 7 points, 8 rebounds and 8 assists for the winners. Swingman Rannar Raap (188-92) answered with 18 points and 8 assists and point guard Rain Karner (186-91) added 15 points and 6 rebounds in the effort for KK Parnu. Four KK Parnu players scored in double figures. Rapla maintains fourth place with 6-5 record. KK Parnu lost third consecutive game. They keep the seventh position with ten games lost. They share it with Valga/CKE. Rapla will play against bottom-ranked Valga/CKE (#8) at home in the next round. KK Parnu will have a break next round.
