Not a big story in a game in Warszawa where 13th ranked AZS Politechnika Warszawska (3-12) was rolled over by ninth ranked AZS Koszalin (7-8) 94-71 on Wednesday. The game was mostly controlled by AZS Koszalin. AZS Politechnika Warszawska was better in fourth quarter 24-22. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. AZS Koszalin dominated down low during the game scoring 60 of its points in the paint compared to AZS Politechnika Warszawska's 34. AZS Koszalin forced 24 AZS Politechnika Warszawska turnovers. Five AZS Koszalin players scored in double figures. At the losing side international guard Piotr Pamula (195-90) responded with 22 points and international guard Mateusz Ponitka (196-93) scored 15 points. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. AZS Koszalin moved-up to eighth place, which they share with Siarka Jezioro. AZS Politechnika Warszawska lost tenth consecutive game. Newly promoted team dropped to the twelfth position with 12 games lost. AZS Koszalin will face higher ranked Slask Wroclaw (#7) at home in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. AZS Politechnika Warszawska will play against Kotwica (#5) in Kolobrzeg.
