Regular Season Round 13: Tln Kalev - TTU 81-90

The biggest surprise of round 13 was guest TTU/Kalev's (#5) road victory over Tln Kalev (#6) 90-81 on Wednesday evening. The guests took control from the first minutes by winning first half. But Tln Kalev won fourth quarter 25-24. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. American center Andrew Arnold (208-86, college: Lewis-Clark St.) fired 27 points and 8 rebounds for the winners. Forward Illimar Pilk (195-88) chipped in 13 points, 8 rebounds and 7 assists. Four TTU/Kalev players scored in double figures. American forward Matt Shaw (203-88, college: UNLV) produced 25 points and 7 rebounds and the other American import guard Brandis Raley-Ross (188-87, college: S.Carolina) added 14 points and 7 rebounds respectively for lost side. TTU/Kalev maintains fifth place with 5-7 record. Tln Kalev at the other side keeps the sixth position with eight games lost. TTU/Kalev are looking forward to face higher ranked Rapla (#4) at home in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Tln Kalev will play against BC Rakvere and is hoping to prove to their supporters that this time they can win.
