There was no surprise when 7th ranked Solna Vikings (8-9) were crushed on the road by first ranked Boras Basket (12-5) 118-99 on Thursday. The game without a history. Boras Basket led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They shot 61.3 percent from the field and made 16-of-20 free shots (80.0 percent) during the game. Boras Basket outrebounded Solna Vikings 46-21 including a 35-13 advantage in defensive rebounds. It was a great shooting night for Boras Basket especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 62.5 percentage. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 26 assists. The best player for the winners was the former international center Michael Palm (208-79, college: W.Washington, agency: R.H.Consultancy) who had a double-double by scoring 37 points (!!!) and 16 rebounds. Lebanese-American guard Omar Krayem (185-86, college: Cal.Baptist) chipped in a double-double by scoring 25 points, 7 rebounds and 16 assists. American guard Tyler Laser (185, college: E.Illinois, agency: Warren Sports International) produced 19 points and the other American import forward William Walker (201-87, college: Bethel, IN, agency: Warren Sports International) added 19 points respectively for the guests. Four Boras Basket and five Solna Vikings players scored in double figures. Solna Vikings' coach rotated ten players seeing no chance for a win. Boras Basket have a solid series of three victories in a row. They maintain first place with 12-5 record. Solna Vikings at the other side keep the seventh position with nine games lost. Boras Basket will face Uppsala Basket (#7) on the road in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game. Solna Vikings will play against Eco Orebro.
