Very predictable result when third ranked Shiga L-Stars (14-6) outscored on the road 9th ranked Yokohama BC (6-11) 91-71 on Friday. It was a very close game until the last quarter, when Shiga L-Stars's pressure prevailed and they won that period 31-18 extending their advantage to 20 points. They made 16-of-20 free shots (80.0 percent) during the game. Shiga L-Stars outrebounded Yokohama BC 42-27 including 30 on the defensive glass. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. The best player for the winners was American forward Ray Nixon (203-84, college: Wisconsin) who scored 22 points and 9 rebounds.
