Regular Season Round 13: BC Jyvaskyla - FoKoPo 80-85

Leader Forssan Koripojat delivered the eleventh victory. This time they beat 11th ranked BC Jyvaskyla (1-11) 85-80. The guests took control from the first minutes by winning first half. But BC Jyvaskyla won third quarter 20-19. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Worth to mention a great performance of American forward Tracy Robinson (201-86, college: Loyola, IL) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 14 points, 17 rebounds and 6 assists. Guard Sami Ikavalko (188-89) contributed with 18 points and 7 rebounds for the winners. Five Forssan Koripojat players scored in double figures. American guard Lance Storrs (195-89, college: Georgia Tech) answered with 17 points, 9 rebounds and 6 assists and forward Jarno Nissinen (195-77) added 20 points and 9 rebounds in the effort for BC Jyvaskyla. BC Jyvaskyla's coach tried various players' combinations and tested in total twelve players in this game, but that didn't help. Forssan Koripojat maintains first place with 11-2 record. BC Jyvaskyla lost ninth consecutive game. They keep the eleventh position with 11 games lost. Forssan Koripojat will play against Porvoon Tarmo (#9) at home in the next round and are hoping to win another game.
