Very significant was Minsk-2006's (#1, 9-0) victory against 3rd ranked SBK Osipovichi (4-5) 108-82. After very bad start, SBK Osipovichi stormed back in the second period cutting the deficit to 3 points 49-46. But it was not enough and Minsk-2006 took back the control in second half. They dominated down low during the game scoring 76 of its points in the paint compared to SBK Osipovichi's 52. They outrebounded SBK Osipovichi 43-28 including a 16-5 advantage in offensive rebounds. Minsk-2006 players were unselfish on offense dishing 25 assists. The former international forward Aliaksei Lashkevich (204-78) notched 20 points and 5 rebounds to lead the effort and international guard Aliaksandr Kudrautsau (190-80) supported him with 6 points, 10 rebounds and 11 assists. Four Minsk-2006 players scored in double figures. Even 16 points and 6 rebounds by Russian swingman Andrei Olbrecht (202-71) did not help to save the game for SBK Osipovichi. Guard Kiril Sitnik (190-89) added 16 points and 5 rebounds for lost side. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Minsk-2006 (9-0) have an impressive nine-game winning streak. Defending champion maintains first position with a perfect record of 9 victories in a row. SBK Osipovichi at the other side dropped to the fourth place with five games lost. Minsk-2006 will play against Rubon (#3) in Vitebsk in the next round, which may be the game of the day. SBK Osipovichi will play at home against Rubon in Vitebsk and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
