Regular Season Round 14: TTU - Rapla 76-52

The game in Tallinn supposed to be also worth to mention about. One of their biggest challengers Rapla (7-6) played at the court of fifth ranked TTU/Kalev (6-7). TTU/Kalev smashed Rapla 76-52. The game was mostly controlled by TTU/Kalev. Rapla was better in second period 20-18. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They made 16-of-19 charity shots (84.2 percent) during the game. TTU/Kalev outrebounded Rapla 42-27 including a 30-17 advantage in defensive rebounds. The former international power forward Kristjan Makke (205-81, college: W.Illinois) had a double-double by scoring 19 points, 12 rebounds and 4 blocks to lead the charge for the winners and forward Illimar Pilk (195-88) chipped in 24 points and 4 assists (was perfect 8-for-8 from the free throw line) during the contest. The former international forward Andre Parn (200-77) responded with 13 points and 7 rebounds and power forward Raido Ringmets (206-83) scored 8 points and 6 rebounds. Rapla's coach Indrek Ruut gave up on the game allowing to play twelve players seeing no chance for a win. TTU/Kalev maintains fifth position with 6-7 record. Rapla at the other side keeps the fourth place with six games lost. TTU/Kalev's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will face at home their local rival from Tallinn Kalev/Cramo.
