3rd placed Barca Regal II (7-3) fell to eighth ranked Prat Juventud (6-5) in overtime by five points 88-93 on Saturday night. The game took place in Barcelona. But the guests from Prat were better at the end. The guests took control from the first minutes by winning first half. But Barca Regal II won fourth quarter 26-17. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening, at least not yet. The game turned upside-down in the last quarter, where Barca Regal II used huge pressure winning it 26-17 getting a tie at the end of regular time. They lost eventually overtime period 4-9. Montenegrin forward Marko Todorovic (203-92) orchestrated the victory by scoring 26 points and 6 rebounds. Guard Ferran Bassas (185-92) contributed with 13 points and 6 assists for the winners. point guard Josep Perez (183-94) answered with 21 points and 4 steals and Swedish swingman Marcus Eriksson (196-93) added 20 points in the effort for Barca Regal II. Four Barca Regal II players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Prat Juventud moved-up to sixth place. Barca Regal II at the other side keeps the third position with three games lost. Prat Juventud will face Tenerife (#10) at home in the next round.
