Important game to mention about took place in Halkidon. Fifth ranked FEA Neas (6-5) saved a 3-point victory at home edging 8th ranked Kronos AD (4-7) 59-56 on Saturday evening. It ended at the same time the four-game winning streak of Kronos AD. Kronos AD cut a 14-point halftime deficit to three at the end of the game. The former international guard Tania Chalivera (178-85) orchestrated the victory by scoring 21 points and 8 rebounds. American forward Katerina Deli (168, college: Scranton) contributed with 12 points for the winners. Four FEA Neas players scored in double figures. Serbian power forward Milena Vukicevic (188-80) answered with a double-double by scoring 17 points and 12 rebounds and forward Maria Zikiridou (187-83) added 16 points and 9 rebounds in the effort for Kronos AD. Kronos AD's coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. The victory was the third consecutive win for FEA Neas. They maintain fifth place with 6-5 record, which they share with DAS Ano Liosa and Panathinaikos. Newly promoted Kronos AD keeps the eighth position with seven games lost. FEA Neas will play against Aris (#9) in Thessaloniki in the next round. Kronos AD will play on the road against Asteras in Athens and hopes to get back on the winning track.
