Very expected game when 9th ranked Yokohama BC (6-11) was defeated at home by third ranked Shiga L-Stars (14-6) 81-64 on Saturday. The game was mostly controlled by Shiga L-Stars. Yokohama BC was better in second period 11-9. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They made 23-of-26 free shots (88.5 percent) during the game. The best player for the winners was guard Yu Okada (184-83) who scored 18 points, 6 rebounds, 7 assists and 4 steals. American forward Ray Nixon (203-84, college: Wisconsin) chipped in 21 points and 7 rebounds. Four Shiga L-Stars players scored in double figures.
