An interesting game for Perfumerias Avenida (9-1) which hosted in Salamanca 4th ranked Joventud Mariana (7-3). Second ranked Perfumerias Avenida managed to get a 5-point victory 77-72. It ended at the same time the six-game winning streak of Joventud Mariana. Joventud Mariana was ahead by 2 points after three quarters before a 19-12 charge of Perfumerias Avenida, which allowed them to win the game. The former international forward Marta Fernandez (178-81) scored 16 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists to lead the charge for the winners and American guard DeWanna Bonner (193-87, college: Auburn, agency: Josep and Nicolas) chipped in 15 points and 7 rebounds during the contest. Five Perfumerias Avenida players scored in double figures.
