Premier League top team - Maccabi T-A (8-1) managed to deliver another win. This time they beat seventh ranked B.C. Habikaa (4-5) in Tel-Aviv 89-79. B.C. Habikaa was ahead by 5 points at the halftime before a 48-33 second half run of Maccabi T-A. They shot 60.7 percent from the field. Americans were the main players on the court also this time. Worth to mention a great performance of power forward Richard Hendrix (203-86, college: Alabama) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 18 points, 10 rebounds and 5 assists (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field). Swingman Devin Smith (196-83, college: Virginia) contributed with 16 points and 8 rebounds (on 7-of-8 shooting from the field) for the winners. Four Maccabi T-A players scored in double figures. Guard Paul Delaney (188-86, college: UAB) replied with 25 points and 6 rebounds and guard Frank Robinson (193-84, college: CS Fullerton) added 21 points and 9 rebounds in the effort for B.C. Habikaa. B.C. Habikaa's coach Avi Ashkenazi tested ten players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. Maccabi T-A have a solid four-game winning streak. Defending champion maintains first position with 8-1 record. B.C. Habikaa lost third consecutive game. They dropped to the sixth place with five games lost.
