Leading Trenkwalder RE (8-3) recorded its third loss in Jesi. Visitors were defeated by thirteenth ranked Fileni BPA (5-6) 85-78. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Trenkwalder RE. The hosts started the game with a very strong first quarter 30-19. But Trenkwalder RE won third quarter 25-15. The best for the losing side was American guard Donell Taylor (198-82, college: UAB) with 24 points and 7 rebounds and his fellow American import guard Dawan Robinson (189-82, college: Rhode Island) scored 24 points and 6 rebounds. Trenkwalder RE's coach tested ten players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. Fileni BPA moved-up to eighth place, which they share with 3 other teams. Trenkwalder RE at the other side still keeps top position with three games lost. They share it with Centrale Latte. Fileni BPA will play against Aget Imola (#8) at home in the next round. Trenkwalder RE will play against Biancoblu BO (#13) in Bologna and hopes to get back on the winning track.
