Regular Season Round 13: MKS Limbach - Unia Tarnow 98-72

Rather predictable result when fourth ranked MKS Limbach (8-4) rolled over 6th ranked Unia Tarnow (6-6) in Limanowa 98-72 on Sunday. The game was mostly controlled by MKS Limbach. Unia Tarnow was better in second period 23-19. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. MKS Limbach forced 25 Unia Tarnow turnovers and outrebounded them 41-30 including 30 on the defensive glass. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists comparing to just 6 passes made by Unia Tarnow's players. Quite impressive performance for swingman Andrzej Peciak (195-78, agency: Promotex) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 29 points and 11 rebounds. Forward Piotr Kwandrans (200-79) contributed with a double-double by scoring 27 points and 11 rebounds (perfect behind the arc making all six shots !!!) for the winners. Guard Tomasz Zych (188-87) answered with 21 points and forward Kamil Uriasz (200-88) added 14 points and 13 rebounds in the effort for Unia Tarnow. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players and allowed the starting five to get some rest. MKS Limbach moved-up to second place in Group C, which they share with UMKS Kielce and Handlopex AZS. Unia Tarnow lost their third game in a row. They keep the sixth position with six games lost. MKS Limbach will face Rosa II Radom (#11) on the road in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Unia Tarnow will play against Pulaski Warka (#13).
