The most exciting game of round 10 in the Premier League took place in Jerusalem. This derby game ended with only one-point defeat on the road of 6th ranked Maccabi Rishon (4-5) to third ranked Hapoel J-M (6-3) 88-87 on Sunday evening. Maccabi Rishon was trailing by 4 points at halftime but managed to get 5-point lead after three quarters before a 21-15 charge of Hapoel J-M, which allowed them to win the game. Point guard Guni Israeli (185-84, agency: Gross Zeev ISA) scored 22 points and 7 assists to lead the charge for the winners and American guard D.J. Strawberry (196-85, college: Maryland) chipped in 22 points during the contest. At the losing side American swingman Joe Crawford (196-86, college: Kentucky, agency: Priority Sports) responded with 24 points and 5 assists and his fellow American import forward Brandon Bowman (204-84, college: Georgetown) scored 16 points and 7 rebounds. Four Hapoel J-M and five Maccabi Rishon players scored in double figures. Hapoel J-M moved-up to second place, which they share with Galil Gilboa. Maccabi Rishon at the other side keeps the sixth position with five games lost. They share it with B.C. Habikaa. Hapoel J-M is looking forward to face B.C. Habikaa (#7) on the road in the next round where they are favorite. Maccabi Rishon will play against Maccabi Haifa and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
