There was a minor upset when 6th ranked KFUM Blackebergs (6-6) were defeated on the road by eighth ranked Talje Knights (5-7) 77-68 on Sunday. The hosts started the game with a very strong first quarter 26-15. But KFUM Blackebergs won second period 18-13. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Talje Knights made 25-of-32 free shots (78.1 percent) during the game. They also forced 19 KFUM Blackebergs turnovers. KFUM Blackebergs were plagued by 24 personal fouls down the stretch. The best player for the winners was Gustav Sundstrom who scored 22 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists. Teymor Johanson (-91) chipped in 17 points. Four Talje Knights players scored in double figures. At the other side the best for losing team was center Nicklas Bergstrom (205-78) who recorded 22 points and forward Mikael Walden (198) added 17 points respectively. Talje Knights moved-up to seventh place in North, which they share with Orongo and Jarva Devils. KFUM Blackebergs at the other side keep the sixth position with six games lost. Talje Knights will face higher ranked Akropol (#4) in Spanga in the next round and it may be quite challenging game.
