An interesting game for Minsk-2006 (10-0) which played road game in Vitebsk against 3rd placed Rubon (5-5). Leader Minsk-2006 had an easy win 89-72. The guests trailed by 5 points after first quarter, but they stormed back to get the 5-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 89-72. Minsk-2006 outrebounded Rubon 42-26 including a 29-16 advantage in defensive rebounds. International guard Aliaksandr Kudrautsau (190-80) orchestrated the victory by scoring 21 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists. The former international forward Aliaksei Lashkevich (204-78) contributed with a double-double by scoring 15 points and 14 rebounds for the winners. Guard Siarhei Sapegin (195-84) answered with 13 points and the former international guard Dmitri Akulich (192-86) added 13 points in the effort for Rubon. Five Minsk-2006 and four Rubon players scored in double figures. Rubon's coach Ruslan Baidakov rotated ten players seeing no chance for a win. Minsk-2006 have an impressive series of ten victories in a row. Defending champion maintains first place with 10-0 record. Rubon at the other side keeps the third position with five games lost. Minsk-2006 are looking forward to face league's second-placed Grodno-93 at home in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Rubon will have a break next round.
