Bottom-ranked Sozh Gomel is still unable to win any game. But it was rather predictable considering how strong their opponent was. This time they could not use their home court advantage losing their ninth consecutive match to second ranked Grodno-93 (9-1) 102-36. The game without a history. Grodno-93 led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated on the defensive end, holding Sozh Gomel to just 4 points in second quarter and to 13 points in first half. Grodno-93 dominated down low during the game scoring 66 of its points in the paint compared to Sozh Gomel's 26. Grodno-93 forced 33 Sozh Gomel turnovers and outrebounded them 41-26 including 28 on the defensive glass. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 26 assists comparing to just 5 passes made by Sozh Gomel's players. They maintain second place with 9-1 record behind leader Minsk-2006. Sozh Gomel lost their seventh game in a row. They still closes the standings with nine games lost. Grodno-93 will play against league's leader Minsk-2006 on the road in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Sozh Gomel will play against BGUIR-RTI (#6) in Minsk and hopes to get finally their first victory.
