The game had a very big importance for second-ranked LF Basket as it allowed them to take a leadership position. LF Basket defeated 4th ranked Sundsvall Dragons in Lulea 99-88. Sundsvall Dragons were ahead by 6 points after three quarters before a 29-12 charge of LF Basket, which allowed them to win the game. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 21 assists. It was a good game for American forward Keith Ramsey (206-87, college: Missouri, agency: Hart Sports Mngm) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 14 points and 14 rebounds. The former international guard Rudy Mbemba (181-87) contributed with 18 points and 9 assists for the winners. Icelandic power forward Hlynur Baeringsson (200-82) replied with a double-double by scoring 17 points, 14 rebounds and 4 assists and American forward Dino Gregory (200, college: Maryland) added 14 points, 9 rebounds and 5 blocks (perfect from the field making all seven shots !!!) in the effort for Sundsvall Dragons. Five LF Basket and four Sundsvall Dragons players scored in double figures. LF Basket have a solid four-game winning streak. As mentioned above they took over a top position. Sundsvall Dragons at the other side keep the fourth place with eight games lost. They share the position with 08 and Sodertalje. Sundsvall Dragons will play next round against Eco Orebro trying to get back on the winning streak. LF Basket will try to continue on its current victory against sixth ranked 08 Stockholm on the road.
