Not a big story in a game in Soller where 13th ranked Navarra Pamplona (2-10) was rolled over by fifth ranked Joventud Mariana (8-3) 100-73. The game was mostly controlled by Joventud Mariana. Navarra Pamplona was better in third quarter 21-18. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Joventud Mariana dominated down low during the game scoring 70 of its points in the paint compared to Navarra Pamplona's 50. The former international center Paula Segui (191-83, agency: Josep and Nicolas) answered with 14 points and 7 rebounds and the former international guard Maria Begona Garcia (175-76, agency: Josep and Nicolas) added 13 points, 6 assists and 4 steals in the effort for Navarra Pamplona. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Joventud Mariana moved-up to third place, which they share with Rivas Ecopolis. Navarra Pamplona at the other side keeps the thirteenth position with ten games lost. Joventud Mariana's next round opponent will be Real Celta Vigo (#12) on the road and are hoping to win another game.
