There was a surprise result in Tianjin where seventeenth ranked TianJin Rongcheng (4-10) edged higher ranked Shandong Bulls (6-9) 95-92 on Friday. The hosts trailed by 18 points after first quarter, but they rallied back and won the game by 3 points. It was a great evening for American power forward Donnell Harvey (203-80, college: Florida) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 24 points and 12 rebounds. Lebanese guard Rony Fahed (184-81) helped adding 26 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists. The best for the losing side was Liberian-American forward Othello Hunter (203-86, college: Ohio St., agency: David Lee services) with 18 points and 9 rebounds and guard Ruheng Wang (190-90) scored 21 points and 7 steals. Five TianJin Rongcheng and four Shandong Bulls players scored in double figures. Shandong Bulls' coach let to play ten players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. TianJin Rongcheng moved-up to fifteenth place, which they share with Qingdao DS. Loser Shandong Bulls dropped to the thirteenth position with nine games lost. TianJin Rongcheng will face higher ranked Foshan (#14) on the road in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory.
