We cannot really consider it an upset in the game between close teams when 14th ranked Foshan (5-10) was defeated at home by fifteenth ranked TianJin Rongcheng (5-10) 108-93 on Sunday. The game was mostly controlled by TianJin Rongcheng. Foshan was better in fourth quarter 31-18. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Foshan was plagued by 28 personal fouls down the stretch. Worth to mention a great performance of Lebanese guard Rony Fahed (184-81) who helped to win the game recording 26 points, 9 rebounds and 9 assists and forward Nan Zhang (197-81) who added 26 points during the contest. At the losing side guard Lingxu Zeng (193-87) responded with 29 points and 5 rebounds and American-Filipino power forward Marcus Douthit (210-80, college: Providence, agency: Edge Sports) produced a double-double by scoring 18 points and 10 rebounds. Five TianJin Rongcheng and four Foshan players scored in double figures. Foshan's coach rotated twelve players and allowed the starting five to rest. TianJin Rongcheng have a solid three-game winning streak. They moved-up to fourteenth place, which they share with Qingdao DS and Foshan. TianJin Rongcheng will face higher ranked Shanghai Sharks (#10) on the road in the next round and it may be quite challenging game.
