Everything went according to plan when second ranked Osaka Evessa (15-5) won against at home 4th ranked Sendai 89ers (11-11) 61-55 on Sunday. The best player for the winners was American forward Lynn Washington (200-78, college: Indiana) who had a double-double by scoring 15 points and 12 rebounds. Guard Satoshi Takeda (185-80) chipped in 17 points. At the other side the best for losing team was American forward Johnny Dukes (203-84, college: San Bernardino CC) who recorded a double-double by scoring 23 points and 16 rebounds and guard Takehiko Shimura (160-83) added 16 points and 5 assists respectively.
