An interesting game took place in Qingdao where 13th ranked Shandong Bulls (6-10) were upseton the court of sixteenth ranked Qingdao Double Star (5-10) 100-94. Shandong Bulls were ahead by 2 points at the halftime before a 26-17 third quarter run of Qingdao Double Star. They made 22-of-26 charity shots (84.6 percent) during the game. 27 personal fouls committed by Shandong Bulls helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. It was a very good performance for American guard Lester Hudson (191-84, college: Tenn-Martin) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 30 points, 10 rebounds, 8 assists and 5 steals (made all of his thirteen free throws !!!). Nigerian-British power forward Olumide Oyedeji (208-81) contributed with a double-double by scoring 16 points, 14 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners. Liberian-American forward Othello Hunter (203-86, college: Ohio St., agency: David Lee services) replied with a double-double by scoring 19 points and 11 rebounds and forward Li Lin (203-88) added 18 points and 6 rebounds in the effort for Shandong Bulls. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. Qingdao Double Star moved-up to fourteenth place, which they share with TianJin R. and Foshan. Shandong Bulls lost third consecutive game. They keep the thirteenth position with ten games lost. Qingdao Double Star's next round opponent will be Foshan (#16) at home.
