Rather expected game when 9th ranked Takamatsu FA (1-21) was rolled over on the road by seventh ranked Miyazaki Shining Suns (10-12) 103-66 on Sunday. The game without a history. Miyazaki Shining Suns led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They made 20-of-21 free shots (95.2 percent) during the game. Miyazaki Shining Suns forced 20 Takamatsu FA turnovers. The game was also dominated by American players. The best player for the winners was swingman Dexter Lyons (198-81, college: Cent.Florida, agency: I.D.S. Law) who had a double-double by scoring 29 points and 10 rebounds (went 9 for 9 at the free throw line !!!). Power forward Lewis Witcher (207-87, college: Virginia Tech) chipped in 16 points and 8 rebounds. Miyazaki Shining Suns moved-up to fifth place, which they share with Chiba Jets. Takamatsu FA at the other side keeps the ninth position with 21 games lost. Miyazaki Shining Suns will face Oita Heat Devils (#8) at home in the next round.
