Even a double-double of 16 points, 5 rebounds and 10 assists by the former international guard Avi Sukar (187-76) did not help to save the game for Hod Hasharon. Puerto Rican point guard Javier Gonzalez (182-89, college: N.Carolina St.) added 19 points and 5 assists. Four Ironi Nes-Ziona and five Hod Hasharon players scored in double figures. Hod Hasharon's coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Ironi Nes-Ziona maintains eleventh position with 4-7 record. Loser Hod Hasharon keeps the seventh place with six games lost. They share the position with Ironi K-A. Ironi Nes-Ziona will meet higher ranked Elitzur Ramla (#9) on the road in the next round and it may be quite challenging game.
