There was a minor upset when 15th ranked Asefa Estudiantes (4-9) was defeated on the road by seventeenth ranked UCAM Murcia (4-9) 88-75 on Wednesday. The hosts trailed by 3 points at the halftime before their 44-28 charge in the second half, which allowed them to win the game. UCAM Murcia dominated down low during the game scoring 52 of its points in the paint compared to Asefa Estudiantes' 30. Montenegrin power forward Blagota Sekulic (208-82, agency: FCM) stepped up and scored 16 points and 8 rebounds for the winners and guard Jordi Grimau (195-83) chipped in 19 points. At the losing side center German Gabriel (207-80) responded with 17 points and 7 rebounds (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field) and American swingman Antoine Wright (201-84, college: Texas A&M) scored 13 points. UCAM Murcia moved-up to fifteenth place, which they share with Asefa Estudian. and Blusens M.
