A very interesting game took place in Lugo. It ended with only one-point defeat on the road of 17th ranked CB Granada (5-11) to tenth ranked Leche Rio Breogan (8-8) 64-63 on Friday evening. Host team only slightly avoided a big embarassment. CB Granada was ahead by 11 points after three quarters before a 21-9 charge of Leche Rio Breogan, which allowed them to win the game. They outrebounded CB Granada 40-25 including 27 on the defensive glass. It was a very good performance for Dominican-American guard James Feldeine (193-88, college: Quinnipiac) who helped to win the game recording 18 points and 7 rebounds. American power forward Brooks Sales (208-80, college: Villanova) contributed with 15 points and 9 rebounds for the winners. The former international center Jesus Fernandez (204-75) replied with 21 points and 5 rebounds and power forward Eduardo Ruiz (205-83) added 11 points and 6 rebounds in the effort for CB Granada. Leche Rio Breogan moved-up to eighth place, which they share with Girona and Caceres. CB Granada at the other side keeps the seventeenth position with 11 games lost. Leche Rio Breogan's next round opponent will be league's second-placed Ford Burgos on the road and they do not belong to the favorites in that game. CB Granada will play against Clinicas Rincon (#18) in Malaga and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
