Everything went according to plan in Malaga where thirteenth ranked Baloncesto Leon (7-9) beat bottom-ranked Clinicas Rincon (2-14) 81-76 on Friday. The guests took control from the first minutes by winning first half. But Clinicas Rincon won third quarter 22-19. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Baloncesto Leon made 23-of-30 free shots (76.7 percent) during the game. Clinicas Rincon was plagued by 25 personal fouls down the stretch. Clinicas Rincon's coach Manuel Povea tried various players' combinations and tested in total eleven players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game.
