There was a minor upset when 5th ranked Angelico Biella (7-6) was defeated at home by seventh ranked Banco di Sard. (7-6) 78-73 on Tuesday. The guests trailed by 2 points after first quarter, but they rallied back to get the 5-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 78-73. The best player for the winners was American guard Drake Diener (196-81, college: De Paul, agency: Priority Sports) who scored 21 points and 7 assists. American-Georgian swingman Quinton Hosley (201-84, college: Fresno St.) chipped in a double-double by scoring 15 points and 10 rebounds. Banco di Sard.'s coach Romeo Sacchetti allowed to play the deep bench players in such tough game. American guard Aubrey Coleman (193-87, college: Houston) produced 23 points and 7 rebounds and Spanish center Albert Miralles (208-82, agency: Interperformances) added 16 points and 7 rebounds respectively for the hosts. Five Banco di Sard. and four Angelico Biella players scored in double figures. Banco di Sard. moved-up to sixth place, which they share with 4 other teams including defeated Angelico Biella.
