Very important is a road loss of third ranked Marauders (7-2) against sixth ranked Lancers (6-3) on Wednesday night. Visiting Marauders were defeated by Lancers in Windsor, ON 78-64. It ended at the same time the seven-game winning streak of Marauders. The hosts trailed by 1 point after first quarter, but they stormed back to get the 5-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 78-64. Lancers dominated down low during the game scoring 50 of its points in the paint compared to Marauders' 28. Worth to mention a great performance of guard Josh Collins (186-90) who helped to win the game recording 19 points, 6 assists and 5 steals and forward Jahmal McQueen (201-89) who added 16 points and 5 rebounds (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field) during the contest. The best for the losing side was Aaron Redpath with 21 points and guard Victor Raso (193) scored 9 points and 7 rebounds. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Lancers have a solid three-game winning streak. They moved-up to fifth place. Loser Marauders keep the third position with two games lost. They share it with Brock. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
