The game had a very big importance for second-ranked Golden Hawks as it allowed them to take a leadership position. Golden Hawks smashed 7th ranked Warriors in Waterloo, ON 110-60. The game without a history. Golden Hawks led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. Golden Hawks outrebounded Warriors 46-26 including a 32-19 advantage in defensive rebounds. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 30 assists comparing to just 7 passes made by Warriors' players. The best player for the winners was forward Maxwell Allin (193) who scored 21 points and 5 assists. Center Patrick Donnelly (203) chipped in a double-double by scoring 10 points, 10 rebounds and 5 assists. Five Golden Hawks players scored in double figures. At the other side the best for losing team was guard Mike Wright (180-91) who recorded 25 points and Max Klien added 8 points and 6 rebounds respectively. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. As mentioned above they are alone now at the top position. Warriors lost fourth consecutive game. They keep the seventh place with five games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
