Very expected game in Ningbo where 14th ranked Bayi Fubang (6-12) was rolled over by eighth ranked Xinjiang Flying Tige (10-7) 102-83. The game without a history. Xinjiang Flying Tige led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. Xinjiang Flying Tige outrebounded Bayi Fubang 55-30 including a 40-18 advantage in defensive rebounds. 24 personal fouls committed by Bayi Fubang helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. The winners were led by Nigerian forward Gani Lawal (206-88, college: Georgia Tech) who had that evening a double-double by scoring 38 points (!!!) and 19 rebounds and international guard Tal Co (191-91) supported him with 20 points and 8 rebounds. Five Xinjiang Flying Tige players scored in double figures. Even 24 points, 5 assists and 4 steals by the former international center ZhiZhi Wang (214-77) did not help to save the game for Bayi Fubang. The former international forward Lehei De (208-87) added 17 points and 9 rebounds for the hosts. Bayi Fubang's coach Chang Bin Adijan rotated eleven players seeing no chance for a win.
