Not a big story in a game when 8th ranked Gran Canaria (5-7) was defeated on the road by fourth ranked Rivas Ecopolis (9-3) 67-57. The game was mostly controlled by Rivas Ecopolis. Gran Canaria was better in second period 21-17. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. It was a good game for forward Asjha Jones (188-80, college: Connecticut) who led her team to a victory with 13 points and 9 rebounds. International point guard Anna Cruz (173-86, agency: Josep and Nicolas) contributed with 14 points, 5 rebounds, 4 assists and 5 steals for the winners. Four Rivas Ecopolis players scored in double figures.
