Regular Season Round 11: Windsor - McMaster 68-57

Date: January 4, 2012
Very expected game when 6th ranked McMaster (4-5) was defeated on the road by second ranked Windsor (7-2) 68-57. The game was mostly controlled by Windsor. McMaster was better in third quarter 18-14. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They outrebounded McMaster 50-29 including a 36-22 advantage in defensive rebounds. French forward Jessica Clemencon (188-89) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 22 points and 10 rebounds. Guard Korissa Williams (177-92) contributed with 11 points, 9 rebounds, 4 assists and 5 steals for the winners. Windsor's coach Chantal Vallee allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. Forward Taylor Chiarot (180-89) answered with 17 points and American center Hailey Milligan (191-89, college: Canisius) added 12 points and 10 rebounds in the effort for McMaster. The victory was the third consecutive win for Windsor. They maintain second place with 7-2 record having just -2 point less than leader Concordia. McMaster at the other side dropped to the fifth position with five games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
