Rather predictable result in Sant'Arcangelo where second ranked Torino (12-5) beat 6th ranked Santarcangelo (4-13) 72-58 on Thursday. The game was mostly controlled by Torino. Santarcangelo was better in fourth quarter 19-13. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. The best player for the winners was guard Marco Portannese (192-89, agency: Players Group) who scored 18 points and 7 rebounds. The former international power forward Francesco Conti (205-83) chipped in 16 points and 5 rebounds. Torino's coach Filippo Faina used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
