An interesting game was also surprising road defeat of 5th ranked Hap.Petah Tikva in a game versus Hapoel Rishon Le-Zion (#8) 72-68. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Hap.Petah Tikva. The hosts started the game with a very strong first quarter 23-14. But Hap.Petah Tikva won second period 16-13. Loser Hap.Petah Tikva keeps the fifth place with four games lost. They share the position with B.C. Habikaa. Hapoel Rishon Le-Zion will meet bottom-ranked Elitzur Netanya (#11) on the road in the next round. Hap.Petah Tikva will play against Bnot Hasharon (#7) in Hertzeliya and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
