An interesting game was also surprising road defeat of 5th ranked Hap.Petah Tikva in a game versus Hapoel Rishon Le-Zion (#8) 72-68. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Hap.Petah Tikva. The hosts started the game with a very strong first quarter 23-14. But Hap.Petah Tikva won second period 16-13. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Hapoel Rishon Le-Zion made 19-of-23 free shots (82.6 percent) during the game. Americans were the main players on the court. Guard Jori Davis (175-89, college: Indiana, agency: Merit Sports) notched 19 points, 9 rebounds and 7 assists to lead the effort and forward Victoria Dunlap (185-89, college: Kentucky) supported her with 12 points and 12 rebounds. Even a double-double of 29 points and 13 rebounds by forward Kaili McLaren (188-88, college: Connecticut) did not help to save the game for Hap.Petah Tikva. Swingman Sheri Lynette Sam (183-74, college: Vanderbilt) added 15 points and 15 rebounds for lost side. Hapoel Rishon Le-Zion maintains eighth position with 3-6 record.
