An exciting game between Top Four teams was played in Perugia. Second ranked Trieste faced 3rd placed Perugia. Guests from Trieste (11-5) defeated host Perugia (8-9) 72-68. The guests took control from the first minutes by winning first half. But Perugia won fourth quarter 17-15. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. The best player for the winners was Alfredo Moruzzi (193-80) who scored 15 points. Power forward Marco Maganza (204-91) chipped in 13 points. The former international power forward Luca Bisconti (206-82) produced 17 points and power forward Filippo Baldi Rossi (207-91) added 11 points and 5 rebounds respectively for the hosts. Trieste maintains second place with 11-5 record behind leader Omegna. Perugia lost fourth consecutive game. They keep the third position with nine games lost. Trieste will face Pavia (#6) on the road in the next round. Perugia will play against Comsum.it SI in Siena and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
