Regular Season Round 11: UQAM - Concordia 55-74

The most exciting game was a derby match between two local teams from Montreal: Concordia (#1) and UQAM (#5). UQAM was crushed at home by 19 points 55-74 and even the advantage of their own court did not help. The game without a history. Concordia led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. Concordia forced 19 UQAM turnovers and outrebounded them 55-30 including a 25-11 advantage in offensive rebounds. It was a great evening for guard Kaylah Barrett (173) who led her team to a victory scoring 23 points and 8 rebounds (on 7-of-8 shooting from the field). Guard Natasha Raposo (173) helped adding 14 points and 6 rebounds. Center Emie Simard (183) responded with 24 points and center Camille Michaud (183) scored 6 points and 11 rebounds. Concordia have a solid series of four victories in a row. They maintain first place with 4-0 record. UQAM at the other side still closes the standings with five games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
