Undefeated Vikies (8-1) recorded its first loss in Victoria, BC. Hosts were defeated by third ranked Huskies (6-2) 86-81. It ended at the same time the eight-game winning streak of Vikies. It may be a crucial game in the contest for the top position in the league. Vikies were ahead by 5 points after three quarters before a 28-18 charge of Huskies, which allowed them to win the game. American point guard Jamelle Barrett (180) stepped up and scored 32 points and 7 assists for the winners and international forward Michael Lieffers (203-87) chipped in 19 points and 13 rebounds.
