Saitama Broncos trailed 48-45 at halftime, rallying from a 28-14 deficit at the end of first quarter to trim the gap. They outrebounded Saitama Broncos 40-24 including 25 on the defensive glass. Yokohama BC looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists. American players dominated the game. Forward Justin Burrell (235-88, college: St.John's) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 20 points, 11 rebounds and 4 assists. Center Chas McFarland (213-86, college: Wake Forest) contributed with 20 points and 7 rebounds for the winners. Yokohama BC's coach Reggie Geary used an eleven-player rotation in such tough game. Swingman John Humphrey (188-80, college: Middle Tenn.St., agency: Court Side) replied with 28 points and 5 rebounds and point guard Kenny Satterfield (188-81, college: Cincinnati) added 13 points, 11 assists and 5 steals in the effort for Saitama Broncos. Four Yokohama BC and five Saitama Broncos players scored in double figures. Yokohama BC have a solid three-game winning streak. They moved-up to seventh place, which they share with Shinshu BW.
