Regular Season Round 13: Brandon - Regina 96-73

The game between closely ranked teams ended with tenth ranked Bobcats' (4-5) home victory over 11th ranked Cougars (2-6) in Brandon, MB 96-73 on Friday. The game without a history. Bobcats led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. It was a very good performance for forward Kyle Vince (193) who helped to win the game recording 27 points. Ilarion Bonhomme contributed with 15 points and 8 rebounds for the winners. Forward Paul Gareau (201) answered with 11 points and 8 rebounds and forward Connor Burns (201) added 13 points and 6 rebounds in the effort for Cougars. Five Bobcats and four Cougars players scored in double figures. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Bobcats moved-up to third place, which they share with 4 other teams. Cougars lost their third game in a row. They dropped to the twelfth position with six games lost. Bobcats will face again Cougars (#12) in Regina, SK in the next round and are hoping to win another game.
