Not a big story in a game when bottom-ranked RMC (0-9) was outscored by fourth ranked Blues (4-5) in Kingston, ON 92-36 on Friday. The game without a history. Blues led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated on the defensive end, holding RMC to just 3 points in fourth quarter. Blues dominated down low during the game scoring 52 of its points in the paint compared to RMC's 18. They outrebounded RMC 43-21 including a 16-2 advantage in offensive rebounds. It was a very good performance for center Andrew Wasik (201) who helped to win the game recording 8 points and 9 rebounds. Arun Kumar (183) contributed with 13 points and 5 rebounds for the winners. Blues' coach Mike Katz felt very confident that he used entire bench which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Timothy Boettcher answered with 5 points and 9 rebounds and Alexandre Lavoie added 12 points in the effort for RMC. Blues moved-up to third place, which they share with 4 other teams. RMC lost their ninth game in a row. They still closes the standings with nine games lost. Blues will face Golden Gaels (#6) in Kingston, ON in the next round. RMC will play at home against Rams in Toronto, ON and hopes to get finally their first victory.
