The most important game in the last round took place in Vancouver between second ranked Alberta (6-3) and seventh ranked UBC (5-2) on Friday night. Alberta was defeated by UBC in a tough game on the road 69-73. The hosts trailed by 7 points at the halftime before their 25-12 charge in the third quarter, which allowed them to win the game.
