Regular Season Round 4: Taiwan Mobile - Taiwan Beer 81-79

We could consider it a predictable result in the game between close teams when fifth ranked Taiwan Mobile (3-5) edged one of their biggest challengers Taiwan Beer (3-4) 81-79 on Saturday. Taiwan Mobile trailed by 1 point at the halftime before their 21-17 charge in the third quarter, which allowed them to win the game. It was a very good performance for American forward Dennis Carr (201-81, college: Embry Riddle, agency: TSS Management) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 18 points and 13 rebounds. International point guard Yi-Chieh Su (181-87) contributed with 13 points and 9 assists for the winners. American forward Emmanuel Jones (200-85, college: UTPA) replied with 21 points and 8 rebounds and international forward Jen-Wei Cheng (194-87) added 17 points, 8 rebounds and 4 blocks in the effort for Taiwan Beer. Five Taiwan Mobile and four Taiwan Beer players scored in double figures. Both coaches tested many bench players in such tough game. Taiwan Mobile maintains fifth position with 3-5 record, which they share with KKL. Taiwan Beer lost third consecutive game. They keep the fourth place with four games lost. Taiwan Mobile will face league's second-placed Pure Youth in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Taiwan Beer will play against Yulon Luxgen and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
