Very predictable result when top-ranked X-Men (7-0) rolled over 6th ranked Varsity Reds (2-6) in Antigonish, NS 87-68 on Saturday. The game without a history. X-Men led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They made 23-of-30 free shots (76.7 percent) during the game. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when X-Men made 8 blocks. Guard Terry Thomas (193) orchestrated the victory by scoring 21 points and 9 rebounds. Guard Tyrell Vernon (185-88) contributed with 13 points and 7 assists for the winners. Four X-Men players scored in double figures. Guard Alex Desroches (193) replied with a double-double by scoring 20 points, 14 rebounds and 4 assists and Matthew Daley added 18 points and 6 rebounds in the effort for Varsity Reds.
