Rather expected game when 8th ranked Sea Hawks (1-7) lost to sixth ranked Tigers (3-4) in St.John's, NL 76-89 on Saturday. The game without a history. Tigers led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They made 19-of-22 free shots (86.4 percent) during the game. Guard Casey Fox (193) orchestrated the victory by scoring 24 points. Bahamas forward Robert Nortmann (198) contributed with 21 points and 5 rebounds (on 10-of-13 shooting from the field) for the winners. Four Tigers players scored in double figures. Center Jason Shepherd (193-89) replied with 29 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists and center Mike Helsby (193) added 20 points and 8 assists in the effort for Sea Hawks. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Tigers maintains sixth position with 3-4 record. Sea Hawks lost sixth consecutive game. They keep the eighth place with seven games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
