Regular Season Round 15: CFBB - Brest 65-68

Seventeenth-ranked CFBB (1-14) used its home court advantage to challenge eleventh ranked Etendard de Brest (8-7) in Paris on Saturday. The visitors from Brest managed to secure only three-point victory 68-65. However their fans expected much easier game. CFBB trailed by 13 points after 3 quarters before a 21-11 run in the last quarter cut the deficit to 65-68 at the end of the game. Etendard de Brest forced 21 CFBB turnovers. Strangely CFBB outrebounded Etendard de Brest 38-21 including a 16-2 advantage in offensive rebounds. It was a good game for Lithuanian forward Vaidotas Pridotkas (200-84) who led his team to a victory with 26 points. Spanish center Rafael Lopez (204-86) contributed with 11 points and 7 rebounds for the winners. Guard Anthony Racine (190-94) answered with 16 points, 7 rebounds and 7 assists and center Alexandre Chassang (199-94) added 15 points and 7 rebounds in the effort for CFBB. Etendard de Brest moved-up to tenth place, which they share with Chartres. CFBB lost their fourth game in a row. They keep the seventeenth position with 14 games lost.
