Rather predictable result when second ranked Pure Youth (6-3) won against 6th ranked KKL (3-5) 86-75 on Saturday. Pure Youth trailed by 1 point at the halftime before their 54-42 charge in the second half, which allowed them to win the game. Pure Youth had a 33-22 advantage in offensive rebounds. Worth to mention a great performance of American power forward Quincy Davis (206-83, college: Tulane) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 22 points, 13 rebounds and 5 blocks. The former international swingman Hsin-An Chen (196-80) contributed with 18 points and 4 assists for the winners. Four Pure Youth players scored in double figures. Pure Youth's coach Chin-Tse Hsu used an eleven-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. The former international center Wei-Fang Shang (196-78) replied with 24 points and American power forward Tim Parham (206-83, college: Md-E Shore) added 17 points and 10 rebounds in the effort for KKL. Pure Youth have a solid four-game winning streak. They maintain second position with 6-3 record behind leader Dacin Tigers. KKL lost fourth consecutive game. They dropped to the fifth place with five games lost. Pure Youth will face Taiwan Mobile (#6) in the next round. KKL will play against the league's leader Dacin Tigers.
